I can't stop crying and I never even met Rabbi Wallerstein! I learned so much just from Torah Anytime and by learning about how he led his life. I can't imagine what the people who knew him better are going through, his family, his students, so many students! There's no way he's finished his work here. It is such as a loss, I will miss his shiurim so deeply, they had such a huge impact on me and my life, Baruch Dayan Haemes, so many great people have been taken from us lately!!

It’s hard to believe. So so hard to believe. Seeing his pictures and videos and remembering his shiurim, recorded or live, where he spoke about Hashem with such enthusiasm, with his whole being (you could see when he spoke that he was speaking with his whole being, that he meant what he said) - and reconciling it with the news- it’s so hard.

When I think of him, I remember “Hashem loves me,” and “stop wasting my time on the internet.”

He touched a generation that’s so hard to reach. His words penetrated.

I am so so sad.
I feel like I knew him personally. He spoke to my heart.

We spent a week with him at his first Pesach program. A tzaddik. My adult daughter is frum today in large part due to his mentorship. A tragic loss for Klal Yisroel.

I had trouble falling asleep last night. I just kept thinking of all the things that I learned from his classes over the years. He really taught me so much and I grew so much from them. Just reminds me that none of us know how much time we have and really to keep growing. Just feels like we have lost so many great people recently. Really hard time for the Jewish people.
