I've seen that thread over and over and posted in it, and yet, just about every time I have to pause and remind myself what it's really about |
Same here.

And I'm quite surprised that the thread is not locked yet!

There has been so much thread title editing lately, I'm surprised that one hasn't been hit yet.

This isn't a problem with a title, but every time I see that thread about filtering water for copepods, my brain reads it as Cape Cod, and I automatically think it's about whether people who live or vacation on Cape Cod need to filter their water. This always surprises me for a moment, as I assume there aren't many frum people up there.
Hmm. Not such an interesting observation, now that I've typed it. Carry on.

That thread about needing meal ideas to be frozen for after birth makes me do a double-take, and I read it as looking for recipes for afterbirth. Since some mammals do eat all that stuff (and even some people), I keep thinking somebody is looking for way-out recipes. Placenta kugel, anyone?

EEEK! Just what I was thinking but didn't get around to say, busy as I was answering some maniac's questions about removing chopped liver stains from roller coasters...
Pardon me while I have a quiet laughing fit...There, that's better. Whew, gone.
Clarissa, I'm convinced you're cassandra, but are you me, too?

"pulling seforim off the shelves - what's your solution?"
Immediate reaction: Actually, I'm happy when DH does this...
Then I realized it's in the toddler section.

Help! This woman is suffering from depression and needs immediate laugh therapy. Or maybe ice cream therapy. Or --dare I say it?--chopped liver therapy.
I got it--she needs: Blues-Gone!

no, that kind of reaction
more like: oh, poor thing, she's sad about her rice, rice can be very sad, especially if it's ruined and you have to throw it out, but I wouldn't say I'm sad about ruined food, I'd be upset, not sad, you know tears and all about rice QWIM?
