Don't really read novels only magazines sometimes.

Amalek kugel, they sell in my grocery one slice layered in one kugel, with all 4 components. I sometimes buy that but honestly it's not so amazing to mix sweet with savory.

That sounds difficult and sometimes scary! Two of my grandchildren did the same when they were toddlers - cried so hard till stopped breathing, turned bluey mauve, lay motionless on the floor.
We had to call Hatzolah twice b/c couldn't get them to "wake up."

Re Amalek kugel: true, savory, sweet, salty, don't taste great in this kugel. I don't think it's for taste. It's a minhag some people have to make this type of layered kugel on Shabbos Zachor, when we hear about eradicating Amalek.

"Dankbar" dear, since you didn't write a Q, I hope you don't mind that I write one instead so that this game can continue.

When you listen to the reading of Parshas Zachor does it make you think of any other "Amalek" you want to eradicate? I'm not referring to a person you dislike ...

Nope. That's one thing I never have her do (when I actually have help - pretty rare!)

The kitchen. From after Purim no more baking, so oven can be cleaned and mixer (when I had one. it broke.)
Kitchen cabinets that we're using on Pesach - it is a bit squishy pushing the contents into other cabinets but it's worth it.
Standing freezer.
Everything that is cleaned at that point is covered well and taped down.

Do you use a lot of bleach to clean for Pesach?
