Is Minced meat chopped meat?
Meat Knishes
Brown the meat and saute' an onion. Combine the two, and spice with a little salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Take puff pastry squares (10 in pkg) and fill with mixture. Seal well, egg and sesame seed the top and bake at 400' for 18-22 minutes, or until browned.

I want to make it in one loaf and not small squares. Do you know how long to bake it?

I woud probably bake it the same amount...The meat is already cooked through, so you are really just baking the puff pastry...Keep an eye on it until it is nicely browned, but not too dark...Enjoy!
This is a family favorite and my kids can't get enough of it. I do the squared because it is more kid friendly...You can cut a big pastry in to squares too....

you can spread some ducksauce on for a tangy sweet taste.. and when I make it I do it jelly roll style and then serve it in slices. it looks really nice. and chocolate moose, anything with a pastry or in a pastry is fattening...

I know that. the dough itself is fatty.
I was jsut surprised how Fatty it was, as compared to how fattening it must have been ..... that's something different.

I just sautee a diced onion and some fresh garlic, add meat until brown, stuff puff pastry, bake. very easy and yummy, and the leftovers are good cold.

brown some meat in a frying pan, drain fat (if you want), in a seperate cup make some brown gravy, pour the gravy in and let that absorb. you can add some sauteed onions and garlic if you want. spoon a spoonful or two into a puff pastry square or put all the meat into one big piece of puff pastry and make a meat roll. enjoy!
