There is a new one in Connecticut, not in Stamford. It's actually kosher (has a kosher restaurant on site). I'll check if I still have the magazine with the advertisement.

Really nice hotel with lots of space for the kids.
Does the fire alarm still ring there all the time? We used to go for Shabbos but it got traumatic when it would go off at 4 am. Happened to us twice and my sister and friends said when they went ( different weeks) it happened also.

The ads are in the magazines. It's crown plaza renamed to Armon hotel.

It’s the old crowne plaza in Stamford. They have a kosher restaurant
It’s definitely not new and has not been renovated in a very long time (I just spent rosh hashana there and usually go to gateways there every year)

The other posters are correct. It's the Armon in Stamford. armonstamford.com.
I remember thinking is this the Crown Plaza but then nixed that thought because I thought I remembered reading that it was located in a different city in Connecticut. But looking now, the ad explicitly states 2701 Summer St - Stamford, CT.
It's either under new ownership, or new branding. Lists a whole bunch of amenities that were never open year round for Jewish travelers before at the same hotel. (Shul, Mikvah, separate swim hours, kosher restaurant. And children's playground coming soon.)
The restaurant is called Prava.

It's so weird - are they not open for regular business yet?
No one is answering the phone there, you can't book through their website, and the e-mails I sent bounced back.
Anyone know?

Fire alarm went off once when we were there.
