Do you have older children who decorate the sukkah or do you do it?

My kids all ages decorate the Sukkah. Some hang, some stick, some just hand things over. I don't do much anymore.

Do you hang any decoration in your Sukkah or does it need to meet a certain standard?

We hang many pictures of Rabbonim. Ushpizin, handicrafts that our kids made, and some colored foil stuff. The only standard to beautify the sukkah for Hashem, not for people.

Do you first hang white material on the sukkah walls and on that the decorations, or do you hang decorations straight on the wood?

My son did a beautiful museum like type of sukkah couple of years ago so latest walls are covered with with a white foam brick look. It stayed standing all year & I want him to fix what fell apart, but he is going away for Yom tov & has no time to do it.

What do you do think is more important listening to doctors to lock in an immuno-compromised child home or listening to child who is losing the sanity & wants to go to school?

Do you feel the child will be at risk going to school? Is there a compromise that can be met? Maybe having the child be with a group of friends, like a pod? It's hard to say based on this question alone, but I feel for you!

Did you have/are you having good experiences with sending your kids to yeshiva?

You mean Yeshivah for bochurim (teenage boys) - Yeshivah ketanah and Yeshivah gedolah?
One can't give a blanket answer for all yeshivos and all boys' experiences in the yeshivas they attend.
One boy may adjust well in a certain yeshivah while another boy may just not find his place in the very same yeshivah.
I feel one has to know their son well and what kind of atmosphere, surroundings, learning level, would be suitable for him, and keep in touch with the yeshiva staff as to your son's progress throughout the year. Also not all boys can take a large yeshiva of several hundred boys, many thrive better in a smaller yeshivah. Same for not all boys are able to concentrate on their learning in a yeshivah in a different country far from their homeland, many need the security of being near home, but not too near -we do want to develop their independence.
The main thing I feel is constant tefillos, tefillos and .... more tefillos.

Do you go for a whole Yom Tov to your parents or in-laws?

Do you ever treat your kids to an ice cream house? Do they behave there?

We don't eat leftovers from Shabbat- at this point, I know how much food to make, and we don't have leftovers.

What's your favorite season, and why?

Spring - not too hot, not too cold. World becomes alive again after dormant winter.

Do you invite yeshiva bochurim or seminary girls to your Shabbos seudas, every week?

We do, but definitely not every week. I feel we need some Shabbatot to be just for our family, together. And there are also Shabbatot devoted to having extended family members, who need our full attention.

Did you hear or read an inspiring idea about Rosh Hashana or Teshuvah?

I hope not to be as addicted as previously but I do check in from time to time.
A break is a good thing.

Not at all. My husband does. But not this year, because of Covid.

How many seudas do you have on erev Yom Kippur?
