Hi,
Is anyone here doing pendency seit remotely? Can you share your experiences? Also, can pendency be done in groups of two or more children? Lastly, what are the going rates for pendency these days? Thanks!

SEIT is for individuals .
I don’t think there is any way to bill for groups ....

Going rate would depend on what agency you work for , if you have bilingual certification etc.....

Lately, the DOE is trying to group SEIT with another child. It has never worked out for me that I had a group, but it was a possibility. Some of my cases do have a group of 2 written on their IEP mandate. My agency does not pay much more for a group of two, and it's double the amount of paperwork for a few dollars more, so I try to avoid it. This is for regular SEIT, not pendency.

Does the agency bill for two separate sessions and not pay you for the work?

I do not know what the agency is getting. I just know that all I would be getting for the extra child is a few dollars an hour more, and it's double the amount of paoerwork.

last year I had a remote seit group(not pendency) and the agency gave $15/more per hour. That was worthwhile. Not sure if that is usual case or increased because there was increased demand at the time for seits working remotely....
