One baby (14m) very active, busy. My husband is in school and studying all day. I'd love to do something with her out of the house for an hour or two. We're in Monsey, willing to drive up to 30-40 minutes each way. Looking for something budget friendly. I can't get myself to pay $20 to watch her play in an indoor ballpit.
Any recommendations? We're open to playgrounds, family friendly trails, indoor activities, museums where she can explore a little? Are there any libraries with classes or play areas in them?

Go to a nice outdoor park. Its free. Then go to an ice cream store and spend $5 on an ice cream.

Finkelstein memorial library. They have toys in the kids section, and tons and tons of Jewish books.
