The talk the other day about Thai food got me in the mood, so I'm making:
Pumpkin-butternut squash-sweet potato coconut soup
Noodles with Vegetables and Tofu in a Thai peanut sauce
Something else, not sure what yet
Either creme brulee or brownies

Clarissa, do you make your own thai peanut sauce? If you do, could you post the recipe for it? If you buy it, what type do you use?
Thanks

Actually, I took this recipe (I gave a link in another thread) for Pumpkin Coconut soup, but I add roasted butternut squash and sweet potato. It's delicious.
It's not easy to be a show-off here, with those posters who make a list of 20 things for Shabbos dinner. I think I deserve a James Beard award every time I produce a soup, entree and a side dish!

Doesn't intimate me in the slightest. I make very few things because my family doesn't eat leftovers and DH and I eat in shul by day.

I usually don't read the longer lists - just the shorter ones!

1 pound imatation crabmeat chopped
1 egg, beaten
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3/4 teaspoon crab seasoning
1 cup fresh grated bread crumbs
Put crabmeat in mixing bowl. Add beaten egg. Mix lightly. Add remaining ingredients in order listed. Form the crab cake mixture into the desired size. Fry in skillet with vegetable oil on medium to high heat (about 1/2-inch of oil in bottom of skillet). Fry on one side until golden brown and turn over on other side to get the same.
