I just called a friend of mine. Her entire family got back from Meron a few hours ago.

She and the girls were standing in a different section and B'H weren't in danger, but her husband and boys were in the very thick of it.

One of her sons saw his best friend trampled to death right next to him, but he couldn't help him up. The boy is in total shock right now. The whole family is besides themselves with grief.

Is it almost shabbos there? Are there still unidentified bodies? Are people still stuck in transit? What’s the plan?

Where is the hug button, I want to hug you all.

My nephew's Kallah was not heard from all night. B"H she managed to get on a bus to Tel Aviv and is okay, just phone reception was difficult. I just couldn't post till I heard everyone is okay in my family, though truthfully we are all one family. My 4 brothers were there, with their young children, my BIL from Monsey was there with his two sons-in-law and grandson (my sister was going nuts last night till she heard from him), my Beitar nieces saw it they were right up front, they also weren't able to call home for hours but people told my SIL that they had seen them B"H. My nephew, who is a Chassan, had left the area literally a minute before, because he said it was too crowded and he couldn't breathe.

Hashem should give us all collective strength now....

It's still a couple of hours to Shabbos. Most people are either home or on the way by now. I was talking earlier to a friend who lives in Karmiel, about twenty minutes from Meron, and she said people are gearing up to host anyone who can't get home and needs a place to stay.

Elazar Yitzchok Ben Shoshana. 13 year old boy. They can’t find him. Words cannot describe the pain his family must be in. Almost Shabbos... please Daven that they find him safe and sound.

I can't even imagine the pain on the families of the niftarim that aren't from Israel. They can't even get to the levaya. It's heart-rending, so heartbreaking.

There are already arrangements in place organizing entry visas for the families. The ones that chose to have the levaya today did that in the full understanding that they would not be there. Most levayas will only be after Shabbos, and can be delayed an extra day to allow for the family to arrive from chutz l'aretz if necessary.

I heard on the radio the israeli authorities will be assisting or helping people from abroad who's family members are missing in getting them into israel, that means they shouldn't be subject to the corona restrictions when coming to Israel.

The government through El Al, but it doesn't matter.

They always do in these situations.
