We’re moving to a new house soon and I’m trying to find strong but not too expensive bookcases for two boys bedrooms to put their seforim. The IKEA ones are out of stock for delivery. Wondering if there’s somewhere local to buy this that won’t be too expensive or a link ? I’m thinking either white or grey.

I bought a Sauders and am very happy with it. They have different styles and colors. Not sure though if they have your colors. You can look online. You can buy it directly through them or find it on other sites. I got mine on another site that was having a super sale. Good luck.

8482612368 there is a private person who sells bookcases for 85 dollars. Nice looking and sturdy but has to be built so Dh need be somewhat handy

I don't know, it was quite a few years ago. But yes, they could be used in a study.
He's listed in the phone book (I think on arboretum?) and is very nice and easy to work with.

How do Kaisman's bookcases compare to Cutler's (company name is Affordable), and Ultimate (in Brooklyn) price-wise and quality-wise?

No idea.
My bookcases from Kaisman are more than 10 years old and have survived a move to a different home. They are in new condition.

I recently got quotes from these companies:
Affordablewoodbookcases.com
ultimate furniture in Boro Park
I asked for a basic bookcase without moldings or crowns. A 36” wide bookcase is about $400
They are not Ikea prices, but they are solid wood so much sturdier. And they are delivered assembled.

May I ask you which Ikea bookcase you are considering? I had the Billy/ Oxberg in my cart and every other day it was in stock/out of stock. You need to constantly try to checkout

Can’t speak for quality, but Affordable runs a tad cheaper than Ultimate
