Onions ok.
Yeah, I know, just leave out the garlic. But if any one has a TNT recipe, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I've done it without onion & garlic and added some sugar for balance it was good.

How about resek- grated tomato? It's delicious with challah and so easy.
Grate a fresh tomato in the food processor (or by hand) and add some salt and pepper. Lemon juice is optional. You can also add some jalapeno if you like it spicy.
You can also saute some tomatoes and red peppers until really soft and add Italian seasoning (basil, oregano) for flavor.

Add some dried chilli flakes instead of garlic. It gives it nice flavour. You can buy the spice in the local kosher stores.

So I bit the bullet and did it without a net detailed recipe. I sliced the tomatoes, drizzled them with oil, sprinkled with rosemary, oregano, salt, and pepper, and roasted for about an hour, then pulsed a little. Delicious.
