I use red pepper in veggie soup all the time. I love the taste! I add a can of tomato sauce too. Really good!

Another vote for yes!
I make a really quick stir fry soup.
1. 1 bag frozen stir fry vegetables
2. Tomato sauce
3. Water
4. Spices to taste (salt, pepper, garlic, onion, paprika, consomme mix if that's your thing)
5. Some canned fried onions (optional)
6. Ramen noodles added near the end.
My husband loves it, he asked me to make it every week.
