I find that salade cuit taste a lot like salsa.. I sometimes serve it as my own home made salsa...
6 tomatoes - chopped
2 green peppers - chopped small
6 cloves garlic - minced
small spoon sugar
salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne pepper to taste
jalapeno - minced (optional, but makes it more like salsa)
oil - a couple of table spoons
cook on very low flame... barely simmer for about 4 hours, until a lot of the liquid boiled out.
