Ooh I forgot about this thanks for bumping it up! Seems like tonight was broccoli night, I see so many people posted they had it tonight. Here was a favorite, tacos with beans and avocado.

I’m the 2 or 3 different suppers every night lady-
1- homemade pizza for most kids
2- homemade falafel for one child who came home fleishig
3- tilapia with garlic brown rice and sweet potatoes for the adults
Nothing fancy or complicated is my motto. Just something tasty for all.
1 large onion cut into rings
2 T oil
8 oz baby portobello mushrooms quartered
1/4 cup silan or honey
2 T red wine
1 clove garlic
dash of salt and pepper
1 lb chicken cutlets pounded thin
sauted onions for 5 min till soft. add mushrooms wine honey and garlic and mix to incorporate. push mushroom and onion mixture to side of the pot and add cutlets. Baste sauce on the chicken and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat. Flip cutlets and cook for additional 10 minutes.
I took a store bought flat bread it was PAS brand and had grill marks. Then I spread a mixture of pasta sauce and teriyaki sauce then I topped it with shredded chicken that was leftover from shabbos. I baked it until it was brown and crispy. I had a bag of shredded cabbage so I sauteed it until it was browned and soft.
DH, I and my 10 year old had it as a pizza all together. My younger kids just wanted avocado on theirs.
