He happens to be was a nice man. When called out "דוואשה זאל יעצט גיין צו מר קאהן'ס אפיס it was alot scarier when Mr. Herzog yelled at you than Mr. Kohn. The regular daily going arounds Mr. Kohn was more tough but Mr. Herzog yelled louder.

In Rav tov, after having a new head OD every single week starting on shabbos night we made a song (taken from a song we had at a school program).
איי איי די אוידע
א נייע מוידע
יעדע וואך ווען שבת קימט
א נייע אוידי מען באשטימט

When I was in rav tov I was “1’st transport” so major trip was Kelders farm! |
Loved the singing as well. Probably my favorite part.
And what is kelders farm? Our "trip" was to the naie kemp to meet up with the girls in that camp and maybe play some machanayim with them or something. And lots of cheering. Maybe we went to a field one year to meet up with the girls from the other camp as well. But nothing like a farm. You girls certainly were spoiled. But then again, we didnt have what you call "detention" so maybe it evened out? Nah. I would still take the farm.
Can you explain what detention looked like?

Who remembers Me. Dzabra (I think that was his name) from the bakery in choodush. If you went to tell him bye cuz you're going off camp grounds he gave a loaf of kokosh cake.

In choodush the bunks right across a big grassy hill was full of mice running under our beds. A good excuse to be able to tell and scream just because.

I don't remember all his goofs but there are plenty that he made in school and camp.

Originally. But we knew a diff song on the tune, from a school program we had on a motzei shabbos where our high school together with Monsey high school met. And Monsey sang it:
איי איי די רעגן

Maybe. Makes sense. I think it was sung at kantara in Chaya sura. But I was there the other half, so they used to sing it there shabbos.
