Anyone have a favorite Pfeiffer (?) brand dressing?
Ken's brand?

In general is there any dressing you can put straight onto coleslaw and it tastes like real coleslaw so don't have to make anything? That would be a super time saver.

I saw that Salad Mate sells a cole slaw dressing.

I make my own balsamic dressing. it takes literally 1 minute--maybe less-- and I like it much better than store bought dressings, and it's way healthier, and cheaper even though the ingredients are much higher quality. I'm not a patchke-er at all but I find it so worth it. I use it as a dressing and also a marinade for grilled/broiled chicken. and after years of using slightly messy/inconvenient containers I bought this great oxo dressing bottle. I just make more dressing whenever it gets low. My friend calls it our house dressing Smile

(I wasn't sure if I should chime in about homemade when you specifically asked for bottled, but RAmom did it first so.. Wink)

Saladmate dressings are the best, I love their lemon garlic dressing I use it on everything.
Their basil pesto vinaigrette is great too, I use it on paninis all the time and adds great flavor

First thought when I read thread title was saladmate lemon garlic!

I put it in salads, turkey sandwiches, mix with tuna, dip shnitzel in it... yum!

so I really just eyeball it so definitely adjust to taste, but it's something like this:

2/3 - 3/4 C extra virgin olive oil
1/4 C Bartenura balsamic vinegar (the other common kosher brand is not the same at all)
approx. 1 tablespoon tamari soy sauce (or other good soy sauce--and for pesach I just use salt)
1-2 tablespoons honey
a couple dashes black pepper
a couple shakes garlic powder
a couple shakes onion powder

close tightly and shake well, shake again before serving. don't refrigerate Smile
enjoy!

I also make other dressings, starting with the same basic vinaigrette proportions of about 1 part vinegar to 3 parts oil. I make an Italian vinaigrette that I really like on pasta salad, using olive oil and apple cider vinegar, a touch of honey, plus salt, pepper, garlic powder, basil and oregano. I also recently started making a lemon maple dressing. it's a bit more work but not much, because I use fresh lemon juice in place of vinegar, and some fresh minced garlic. but it's really good Smile
