What do you do to destress

Sleep
take a hot bath
take a walk in the woods
play music
Take a pause

Do you prefer children as children or when they are grown up?

8 years old.

I remember back then thinking this was the ideal age...

Come to think of it, I like my current age too... it's more relaxed...

What did you dream of becoming when you were a child?

My pre-1A yearbook says I wanted to become a mommy.
I read the quote "Adults are always asking kids what they want to be when they grow up because they are looking for ideas" (Paula Poundstone) when I was 9 and from then on I refused to think about that question any more.

Now I am quite satisfied with what I am... and I love my profession, on which I stumbled at age 25 or so...

when I was 8, I wanted to have a small bakery, because I imagined I could be completely independent, produce my goods and sell them, not owing anything to anyone...

When I was about 15, I wanted to learn all languages on earth and all musical instruments... and I wanted to be a chemist, because both my parents were...

In the end, I found out that I have the soul of a civil servant - I'm not for adventures, not for indepence, but for stability and predictibility...

Would you rather be a free-lancer or employed?

Today. I use a bike as a regular means of transport.

How do you interpret the saying "the fish stinks from the head"?

Yahoo! I’d love to do the same but it would be some entertainment for onlookers if I’d go to work on a bike. Never mind that I’d probably break any bike I’d sit onto.

Never heard this saying. My guess is: it was all wrong from the get go?

In what context did you read/hear that?

I thought it meant that inappropriate/illegal things are happening in a firm/family because the boss/parents agrees with them or even encourages people to do them...

For example, if you see children cursing a lot, and then you hear their parents curse just as badly, this would be a case of "the fish stinks from the head"...

Do you think it is a good idea to get off the bus early, when you have time, and walk a few stops to integrate exercise to your daily life?

Yes your definition makes more sense! Extra credit for that!

Yes it’s a great idea, but a bike is even better!

Do you wear a helmet?

You are right with your interpretation. It means it basically starts from the top. Like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"-in reverse

That's true... but I do not have one thing I think I should absolutely do before I die...

Most things I absolutely wanted to do when I was young, I have either done/achieved them or found out it was not as worthwhile as I thought... I was fortunate to be offered the possibility to fullfill my dreams when I was young... I have no regrets now...
