Would you rather go to a simcha brunch during the week, during noon break, so there will be less people in the restaurant and you still have your Sunday to yourself?
Or you would rather go on Sunday because you don't need to hurry back to work?
thank you!

Sunday. How much room do I take up, anyway ?
Anyway, if I'm coming from work, I'll have limited time to spend.

Depends if I HAVE to go or because I want to !!
If it's a simcha that I'd love to goto, I'd prefer Sunday, when we can stay all day and schmooze.
If I feel obligated to go but not really looking to hang out, definately during the week, because then you always the excuse "must run back to work"...
Just being honest... !!

ditto. I voted Sunday, but that was assuming I wanted to go. I would hate to lose a part of my family time day for a social obligation.

Are you making a reservation or booking a place with a party room?

If it is a brunch and breakfast type food, then even earlier like 10:30/11am. If it's meat, then around 12/1pm.

The restaurant may not want to give you the restaurant at a busy time. That's why we made our son's Bar mitzvah on a Motzei shabbos.
Ask them before you plan.

jewgal, it's a birthday
It's a cake (not meat), but not breakfast either.
But it seems now the good places are too busy on Sunday afternoon so it would be after 6 pm, so more like a "collation"... I'm just back from Paris, that's the best I can get if I want a really cool location...
