These are 2 days that most ppl could recount almost word for word of - your wedding day and the day of the birth of your child(ren). Which do you remember more, and why?

I don't know about "more" - I think they all (I think most of us have more than 1 birth to remember) stand out. (of course, some births stand out more than others - which child were you refrerring to...?)

Both were very surreal, but the wedding process being definitely funnier than the birth process, I like remembering the wedding day but not necessarily the day of birth (I prefer thinking of the baby itself).

I remember both equally, but I have fonder memories of my wedding day, of course. Having the baby was great, but the feelings weren't so good.
The wedding day was all good.

I voted for births. I may remember them more clearly because my older child constantly has me retell the stories, so they are imprinted in my memory. I loved my weddings, but can really recall the incredible feeling I had, seeing my babies and hearing their first cries.

according to who? I can barely remember any details of my wedding day forget about word for word. It was such a happy blur, I didn't even notice the details, I just remember certain special moments of the day but dont even ask me who was there, what was served, what color anything was, it went so fast, it was over before I blinked.

I didn't remember much of my wedding except that it was over too soon, until I watched the video for the first time.
I remember them equally, I guess.

I guess if I had pictures of the birth I would remember it better (lol)...but we put the chassuneh pictures up on the computer as a screen saver and so I relive that day every day as I sit at the computer...but then I look over my shoulder at my wonderful kinderlach and remember every minute of their birth as well...

yes, but since event #2 is hopefully a consequence of event #1 and not vice versa, the wedding ultimately costs the most in the long run. LOL

I was in a daze at my wedding. My memories of it are kind of surreal. I definitely have much clearer memories of the birth of my son. Of course, my wedding was 11 years ago and the birth of my son just over 1 year ago.... so that could have something to do with it too.

Wouldnt one remember the more recent event? Just logically.
Anyway, I remember all of these events but they hold different significances for me.

No contest: I had c/s under general anesthesia, so I have no memory of ds actual birth. I have to depend on DH memory, except he wasn't allowed in the operating room, so he doesn't remember the actual birth, either.

I do remember hearing someone call my name and say Hello? helloo? HELLOOOOOOO? That was the doctor trying to wake me up afterwards, and I so didn't want to open my eyes.

For sure the births of my children.
My wedding was a whirlwind, and I was just following orders of where I should go, I was very present, but not as actively involved...I was getting married.
At my births, I was delivering my babies, I was a lot more active and involved with what I was doing and not just happening to me.
