Is puff pastry the right kind of dough to make these with?

Ok, thanks! I've never made them before, so I'm not sure how to go about it. Do I cook the little hot dogs first? Do I just cut squares of dough, wrap around the hot dogs and bake?

Aren't hot dogs already cooked in the package? I always though when you put them in the oven it's just to heat up. Idk for sure, I'm not a big fan of processed meats.

you can either use the small squares ( I think mazor) you spread mustard or just leave it but the good ones really have mustard lightly spread on the dough then wrap it around a hot dog and hten cut them into 2 or 3 little peices depending on what size dough you use.
One time I used the sheets of pastry dough and it was a bit more difficult to lay out and roll up and cut the difficulty was in figuring sizes cuz the dough puffs but the hot dog puffs but shrivels a bit so dont cut them too small.
Good Luck and enjoy sounds tempting
