Last week I bought a package of chicken cutlets, & put it into the fridge since I was planning on using it the next afternoon. It turned out that I didn't use it the next day, so I put it into the freezer.
Now I would like to use the chicken, but I'm having second thoughts because it sat in the refrigerator for a day before it was frozen.
What do you think? Is it ok to use this chicken?
(This should be mine & everyone's greatest dilemma. )

It should be fine, as long as it wasn't frozen, defrosted, then frozen again. Fresh chicken cutlets left in the fridge for an extra day then frozen is perfectly ok.

Seems like the shops here have chicken sitting in their fridge section more than one day - so unless there is some sell be date that was passed, I think the one extra day in the fridge could not have hurt them. The most important thing of course is that after you defrost them, SMELL THEM! You'll know!

I'm sure it's fine. If you would have left it a couple of days, I'd be a little nervous.

It's definitely fine. Even if you'd waited a couple more days it would most likely be fine.

if they were fine to begin with, and your fridge works well, they should be fine. my bubbie said you should always unwrap chicken and then rewrap and feeze, not just take the wrapped package and throw it in the freezer, but she never said why. Maybe just to make sure it's still good before you freeze it. I never followed this advice, though maybe I should.

as long as it was very cold, it's fine.
