and doesn't want to talk about why and refuses to speak to a therapist, what's the right approach?
She always disliked school, but not to this extent. She's lively and likes to be the center of attention, and prob. feels she's never going to be the center of attention in school. I think that's the reason, what do I do?

Maybe find a school that she will fit in better.

speak to the guidance counselor at her existing school.

take it serious ... and don't push her to school ... there has to be an underlying core and you should seek professional help one that has a good rapport with her is essential ...
