Equal amounts of whip topping (unwhipped) and baking chocolate. Cook on a saucepan until it bubbles and thickens. Yum.

This is really more glaze than frosting, but I just mixed powdered sugar and cocoa powder (about equal parts, I just eyeball it) with a tablespoon or two of water, then brush it on with a pastry brush.

I used the chocolate frosting from the Black & Whites in the Spice and Spirit cookbook.
I added a little more water than they said, until it was a thiner consistency. It spread on really easilly and then evened out leaving perfect looking donuts! I always hate when you see the marks from it being spread.

I also use the black and white recipe from spice and spirit. It's good but I may try the whip idea it sounds yum!

I used confectioner's sugar, cocoa, and some parve milk ... dipped the doughnut in ... and voila ...
