My dd is almost three years old and im trying to toilet train her. She is able to stay dry most of the morning...with me constantly asking and taking her to the bathroom. (she never tells me that she needs to go)
The thing is that she make #2 in her underwear. I just cant deal with it!!!!!!!!! so now shes wearing pull ups.
she still doesnt tell me that she needs to go and she still makes #2 in her pull up. this is really stressing me out.
and yes, I give her candy when she makes and the toilet etc and ive tried a timer. help!!

I had a really tough time traing ds...he was about 3.5 when he finally started pooping in the potty. I don;t have too much advice bc I think peer pressure from school helped, but one thing was that for a long time I was really stressed about it and got upset a lot. So then I just stepped back and let him do as he needed (as best I could for one who has trouble letting go) and I think that that contributed...him know ing I was stressed about it was actually an impediment.

DS just turned 3 & he's been trained since August, yet he still hasn't done #2 on the toilet. he's very regular & goes sometime overnight when he has a diaper on. One night, we even put him to bed without a diaper, by mistake, & he did it in his pj's, not realizing. The Dr told me last week at his well-visit that it's normal. Unfortunately, I have no suggestions for you. Sorry!

I found that to be a hurdle - they were scared to do #2 in the toilet. I found that the potty (yuck) was less intimidating and as a transition, I let them go with a diaper on, but sitting on the potty.

dd will ONLY go #2 in the toilet, she holds #1 till she's off. But, I know that some kids are afraid to go #2 because they feel like part of them is being taken away or something likke that. maybe if that's the prob addressingf it will help

to me certain things are not negotiable ... the toilet is for making ... and they must sit cause otherwise they will make on themselves ... the pull-ups really don't help cause they are too diaper-like ... just be consistent and do not only remind them ... but take them ... sit down next to them ... read a book if you have to ... and the prizes imo should never be food ... but cheers ... stickers ... a dance ... new undies ... not to mention feeling clean
