So promoting thru Instagram may be worthwhile if you're looking to get product knowledge out there. Like a new innovative thing I haven't heard of before.
When Raizyscookin did the collab with the kitchen place I rolled my eyes and skipped every story. I kept thinking of course you love it you didn't pay for it!
But when YochevedGross promoted nakiradio I went ahead and checked it out. It was a concept I've never heard of before. It was something that filled a need for my family and I bought it. |
Todah!!
And if my daughter gets bored of Rabbi Juravel, I would buy Naki Radio. Just by observing her (she's 6), I see that audio entertainment doesn't take over her brain and make her cranky like videos do to her!

I never bought anything because of Instagram and never look at people's stories but I like raizyscookin, peaslovencarrots, busyinbrooklyn, swaddlebee, barriana, esteez, charleneaminoff, betweencarpools, abbeywollin
I'll think of more and add. I don't like the annoying overly dramatic ones that try to be cool and hip but just look childish.

her husband is my boss and whenever hes gone for a few days I have to check where their off to this time;)
I work like a dog and then see all these beautiful posts she writes about self care blah blah
do they not realize how it makes the rest of the world feel ???!!!!yes if I had the money and time and thought it was normal to leave my kids so much for vacation I am sure I would have time to take photos and search for "Inspirational"messages
I just cant see logic, they know most of the world doesn't live the fake life they do how is a photos of them in their new wig, dress, trip ,shoes going to "inspire"anyone because of some added quote
rant over ahhhhhhhhhhhh it felt good to let that out |
I'm not going to guess who you're talking about, but I used to follow someone just like this. I stopped. This person had just come back from her 50th vacation of the year, posted herself getting a manicure, with the tag, "Back to reality". I couldn't stop laughing.
And then I unfollowed. Life is too short for this nonsense.

I can't stand the other "Frum" influencers who all seem stuck-up, unrealistic, and really empty. |
Another vote for PeasLoveandCarrots. She won't put on new wigs and tons of makeup and walk you through her skincare routine. I also like BetweenCarpools. Their content is STELLAR. I wish I had time to actually look at the blog!
I have to admit, though, I fast forward through everyone's stories unless I'm unsure of how to cook a recipe. I find everyone else's lives boring (I wish more people would realize this), and I use stories for instructional purposes only.

Perhaps I should buy advertising here from Yael, and get a savvier audience than I would from Instagram!
I don't think it would be ethical to write about what I want to promote here, as its fairly unique. |
I actually think this is a brilliant idea. Go for it! I recently disabled my ig account because I just felt like it no longer matched my personal values. So now I appreciate when I am marketed to in a less influencer-ish way.

On that note, I really couldn't care less whether my BFF had a cup of coffee, (unless it's a meaningful part of her day that she wants to share with me); in fact, when I look back on my day, I don't even care whether or not I've had a cup of coffee! And I'm supposed to take note of a bunch of strangers having their coffee?! What could possibly be more boring???

That means she's doing it so seamlessly you don't even realize.
I find her super unrelatable. The amount of time and money and products you would have to spend to replicate her organizational stuff is beyond.
and she's the one who claimed that Yukon potatoes have half the calories of regular potatoes and stuck to it staunchly because she "researched it" (as I mentioned on another thread recently), so there's that...

Gourmet Glatt is coming out of my nose.
I actually enjoy her home series and organizational stuff. I don't need to copy it exactly but I find her ideas serve as motivation for me to keep things neat.
She's not a nutritionist, definitely not from the way she preps her food so I would never believe her on anything like that.

What about between carpools? Many many frum women follow them plus you probably get a article on their site.
Like others mentioned RaizysCookin has a huggge follower base and get thousands of views.
It really depends on what your offering, then you can find a influencer that has a targeted audience to your specific product/service.
I’m on insta for entrainment recipes and ideas. I don’t buy their stuff unless I happened to have needed it or it’s erev YT and a new food item is being promoted that I can use. If a clothing company that has food prices I’ll check them out too.
ETA- I love Barianna as well as estherkadoch

I find that there seems to be a trend with the “influencers” (which by the way I can’t stand that term). Before they become the “influencers” that they are, they start out as ppl I enjoyed watching. One influencer I used to love watching her stories. She was chilled, loved to cook meats and steaks and other fun stuff, she did beautiful tablescapes and succah) but slowly as her following grew, yes she did some of the same stuff but it just seems fake and forced at this point. The ads and promo codes and stuff that gets pushed ir just annoying.
Yes, a Mexican vacation at a beautiful resort is fabulous with all your meals catered by the amazing chabad over there but come on... I didn’t start watching you to see you eating chips and guacamole at the pool everyday 🙄

this I have to agree with but she has more followers than any other influencer I know. if you like watching someones vacays by all means enjoy.... I like seeing pretty makeovers and food styling even though I would never even attempt it so I watch raizyscookin. I don't use her tips or hacks cuz I'm fine with how I run my home but I find it entertaining. I guess it boils down to each individual and what they enjoy seeing.
