Use decent meat I for one like Chinese pepper steak. It’s very thinly sliced meat so it’s a lot softer than traditional pepper steak.

I'm using a frozen bag of broccoli that's been thawed (don't let it get soggy and fully defrosted).

I want to try this recipe today. Can I do with regular potatoes, or do they take longer to bake through than the red baby ones?

With thanks to tichelady, this Southwestern lentil and rice bake has become part of my repertoire:

I double the recipe and use both green and red peppers and a jalapeno instead of the chilis so it has flavor but not too much heat.

If you cut the potatoes into smaller cubes it would work. But spread everything out on 2 sheet pans instead of 1.

Just bought a wok, and I'm psyched to use it! Any ideas of what to make? And how to make it with my wok?

I’m cooking for us + a family with six kids that just had a baby BH so I’m making a huge pot of ground beef and bean chili, and giving them salad and taco shells and some chocolate snowball cookies for dessert 😊

If your wok is rounded on the bottom, you may need a ring for it to sit on

Get your ingredients out ahead of time and near the wok. You may have to par- boil some vegtables ahead of time like bok choy.

Use 2 large wooden or plastic spoons to move the food around quickly.

Wok your food on the highest possible heat.

You can pretty much wok all the combos you see in chinease restaurants.
