Seasonal advice needed

Spring- a great time to declutter
Summer- freezing water bottles the night before helps the kids have cold water all day long

Good/evil smartphone, Shabbos - what to do?

So this title reminded me of the book Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid, by Douglas Hofstadter which opens with the true story of how Bach improvised music on the newly invented pianoforte (what we call a piano today, the original name means soft-loud, because unlike the older harpsichord the volume could be varied) and ends with a fictional story about a machine that he calls a smart-stupid (a computer) that Charles Babbage improvises on, creating a simulation of Alan Turing.
