It looks like it's supposed to be cold the first day, and hot the second day. What to do?

What sort of A/C? Thermostat controlled central air? Shabbos timer being used on a window unit? Do you hold that you can take out a pin from the timer?

We have window units and don't use shabbos clocks, so that doesn't make it any easier.

Wish I could help. Maybe keep one room on with the door closed when it's cold out.

Do your ACs have energy saver mode? If they do, then they'll only click on if it's above the temp you set it for.

I was thinking the same thing. It's not going to be cold enough to necessitate heat, so I think I'm setting A/C to 70 like I usually do, and when it's hot it will turn on and when it's cool outside it should be fine inside.

Rather be colder than warmer. On Yom Tov you can add a blanket or warm pjs but can’t do much if your hot

Go out now and buy a timer. Set it for the afternoon.
Not sure where you live but by me it’s going up to 78 first day and 84 second day.
If you leave on your oven it might be warm in your house.

If your AC is not digital (ie, has only manual controls and no LED readouts), buy a timer now.

The built-in timers on digital ACs vary. Some are 12-hr, some are 24 hr. If your AC has a 24-hr timer you can set it to go on tomorrow afternoon. Unfortunately, the digital ACs cannot be adjusted on YomTov and you cannot hook them up to an auxiliary timer.
