Mine is... I bought white curtains for my patio door. Maybe a little crazy with kids around but I love them. So.. going in and out leaves little dirty fingerprints on them. Once even chocolate popsicle. Here is the good part. I take my bottle of clorox kitchen cleaner and squirt any spots while they are still on the rod. Works great. I can then wait to wash them when I do the bed linens.
So what is your #1 tip?

microfiber cleaning cloths for dusting, for cleaning mirrors (you will need very little cleaner with that)! and cleaning bathroom fixtures - one swipe and they shine! They are also great for picking up spills, they absorb much more than their weight!
I bought a large pack of them in Costco's automotive section, much much cheaper than any other place...

Got these from flylady:
Always clean your sink before you go to bed...waking up to a clean sink is really good for the spirit...and it makes the whole kitchen seem cleaner (plus, I think if I"m going to clean my sink, I might as well do the dishes etc...)
Swipe your bathroom sink and counter with windex or cleaner and swish your toilet with any kind of soap every morning as you wash your face, etc...wipe out the shower or tub whenever it is used (again, don't need heavy cleanser, just shampoo) wiping down the sink and cleaning the toilet will take literally a minute, and if done every single a.m., You'll start feeling like your staying at a B &B...
Basically, I love flylady! It's made for people like me (not neat by nature)

While I am cookinf for shabbat I place a wet towel (damp) under one shoe and a dry one under the other. While I shuffle about the kitchen I clean up spills etc. Every now and then I rinse out the wet one or switch sides of the dry one. (I have a white floor)

Clean as you go - this goes for the kitchen as well as other projects.

Wash the dishes before you eat. Sounds a little backwards since you are gonna have more dishes soon anyways, but while you are in the kitchen preparing supper already then it's much easier to get the big stuff done before you sit down to eat. After the meal, when you are tired and want to get everything cleared up as quick as possible, you are only left with a couple stuff from the meal itself.

I just started doing this recently and works great, I usually cook supper at around 4-5 and dh comes home at 7. so I wash the pots and pans that I dont need (some food stayes in pot) and after supper I only have a few plates, cups an cutlery, takes seconds to wash
dh also likes it this way cuz kitchen is clean at supper time

Ahh... sounds great!
Ideally this is really the best way to do things, because if you are too tired to deal with the day's mess at the end of the day, then tomorrow morning you'll be even more overwhelmed dealing with leftover mess from yesterday.
