It looks like torture.
What would you do with the finished project?

Presumably display it like you would a tapestry or other piece of art...

My plan is to hang it. I guess time will tell if I really will

Being the hacker that I am, I'm thinking of ways you could make it more custom.
If you could buy blank graph paper the right size, and you have some drawing talent, you could make your own picture, and then buy the beads separately.
Can you imagine how this would look with Swarovski flatbacks? They come in square if you order them from Harman.
I could see doing this on the cover of a family photo album, or as a wedding album. It would make a gorgeous gift.
You could also do your kids' names and make signs for their rooms. So many ideas!
Too bad it makes my wrists hurt just to think about it, but I love sharing ideas.

I haven't tried - but the sellers on Ali offer custom pictures- you send them the picture and they'll turn it into a diamond painting. I have no clue about pricing.
Also for those who were worried about the tweezers - the tweezers are for fixing things up. I use them but not even daily. It comes with a "pen" to pick the diamonds up with... check out the pics on any site or the YouTube tutorials.
