5 to 8, more in Queens and Nassau.
The problem isn't the snow. Its high winds that are going to severely reduce visibility and make any travel difficult.

NYC public schools are closed and other schools will be following suit.

Monsey won't have it as bad as the city and there will be a two hour delay per the school district.

It's not just about the inches. The winds are supposed to be terrible and the temperature super low (as it has been the past few days). I am in my ninth month and although I want to sit home and curl up in bed I'm moving in with someone who lives closer to the hospital.

According to flightaware.com there are many cancellations for tomorrow.
I would check with each specific carrier.

In Lakewood, winds are only supposed to reach 28 mph. I don't think that's so bad. I'm not worried about snow, I'm worried about electricity. But I hope we don't lose it.

That's without the gusts, which are gonna be about 40-50 mph.
