Full term is earlier with twins. I do have a friend who delivered her twins naturally at 39+ weeks. I know others who had complications and delivered/were induced early. I would guess that 36 is an average. Take care of yourself and daven for a healthy pregnancy, deliver and babies.

Is there a difference between identical and fraternal twins regarding gestation time?
My twins are not identical but I went to 38 weeks with no signs of labor and then had scheduled c-section.

Thats what my doc was telling me, my babies have 2 separate placentas combined as one... whatever that means...

I had fraternal twins at 30 weeks due to preterm labor. 8 weeks NICU for both babies.

I'm guessing they're worried about the placenta giving out sooner if it's supporting two babies. My sister had fraternal twins in a scheduled c-section at 38 weeks.
