I just made chicken and when I took it out of the package it really smelled funny, do u think its ok to eat?

I would not risk it. Try to see if u can return it to the butcher store.

If raw chicken smells funny, it's probably not a good idea to use it. I'd throw it away.

OOps! A few weeks ago we had some friends over for a barbq & the chicken legs that I had bought that morning, smelled when we opened the packages. We ccoked them & my friend let the guys taste before she did but she was very hesitant. I think she ate some & I never heard complaints from anyone, but we probably shouldn't have used it.
