sounds yum!! How do you make the pumpkin muffins? All the recipes I found for stuff like that call for frozen squash puree, which is impossible to find kosher. I would love to make them with a can of pumpkin somehow

I know there is kosher frozen pureed butternut squash...if that helps
unless you meant regular green squash.

So the Asian Bbq Salmon Salad is from KBD- Short on time, the chocolate chip pie is from What's Cooking, and the Pumpkin muffins are from the Kosher Pallete II. the recipe calls for canned pumpkin, which I found here in Israel actually tho it's from America. The company is Libby's I think

My question was more not where it's from but what's the general method (not the whole recipe but just to get the general gist on what it is). Is it a gigantic chocolate chip cookie shaped into a pie dish? something else?

Do you think I can use canned pumpkin for a butternut-squash muffin recipe, instead of the pureed squash?
I don't know if they have the same consistency or not.

I totally think pumpkin puree will work out great. I totally think that sweet potato, pumpkin, and, butternut squash can be interchanged in a lot of recipes.
I'm not an expert - but I DO cook with all three items frequently.
