I vaguley remember that at a certain size it skips around funny - something like a 3 is the same as a 5 and then what size is 4? Anyone with kids in this size group to clarify - what size do you buy after size 3 or is it 5 kids is 7 adults, help - having shoe confusion

In normal countries, the sizes go in numerical order.
I mean, I wear size 8 and my 3 year old son wears size 9. Go figure. Because I sure can't!

a kids size 4 is an adults size 5 for girls/women ... my16 yo dd is a 3 1/2 in kids ... so I know this
