My teen daughter needs a new winter coat and shabbos shoes. I'm going to be coming in to Lakewood tomorrow (Thursday/Thanksgiving) and would like to do some shopping with her while I'm there. Does anyone know of any stores that will be having sales on coats or shoes for Black Friday? Would love to find her a coat for under $100 and shoes in the $50ish range of possible so really hoping to find a decent sale. Any leads appreciated.

Hm the sales aren't that good yet. Maybe a shoe dream has the best sales so far but they aren't amazing. I bought boots for my girls there for $98 cash. For coats you can try calling little women too and asking they might have. Hal shoes is also on sale but only 30% off you can check their catalog at halshoesnj.com to see if they have options for your daughter before going. You could also call juvenile plant if their coats are on sale yet.

Thanks for your response. I was hoping that maybe there were some sales advertised specifically for black Friday. I don't have access to the local publications (like BP weekly) so can't look up if there are any better sales. Many stores haven't really had good sales yet but some have special sales specifically over the coming few days. Like I know kidichic is 50% off, Udel 40%...

I'll look at the shoe stores you listed. Juvenile planet is not going to work for a coat though, my daughter is 15 and wearing a women's XS.

Step in elegance has shoe outlet in the basement. Shoes for 30-40. Aurora has nice coats like $60

My dd needed Shabbos shoes for her upcoming date: $125 in RFS
I never spend this kind of prices but was kind of stuck cause she needs them today!!
I wish there would be cheaper shoes. Banging head

Ooh, good to know about the outlet. It's in the basement of their regular store? And regarding aurora, when I look online looks like most things are still full price. Maybe I'll call and see if they have anything in store on sale.

If my daughter was older I might be more willing to spend somewhat more with the assumption that she would wear them for a few seasons (although I still think $125 and up is overpriced even if worn for multiple seasons). But she's a young teen and will almost 100% want new shoes next year. So I'm not willing to spend nearly that much.

First of all, BP Weekly is online, so you should be able to see the sales that way.

Seven Cubs / Bugaboos for Less has last year's coats for 40% off in their back room. Even full price they have coat options for under $100. But not sure what size they go up to, and what size your daughter is.

Feathers has a few options - I never bought there but I've heard good reviews
