I was at a kiddush last shabbos. They served this yummy salad there.
It had lettuce, yellow peppers (chopped really small) sunflower seeds, craisins, maybe some other veggies dont remember, it had a sweet oil based dressing over it. On top they crumbled the dried noodles from those Tradition soup cups.
Would anyone know what the exact recipe is, or even what's it called?
I would love to make it for yom tov, but dont know where to begin!
TIA!

Try using one package of the tradition noodles(raw w/o the spice pkg) 1/4 c. sesame seeds, and 1/4 c. almonds toasted in the oven till brown. For the dressing use equal amounts of sugar, soy sauce, water, and double the amount of oil. I think you can use whatever you like in the salad. Does that sound about right?

toast/saute the raw ramen noodles and sunflower seeds in oil in a medium skillet.
you can use a dressing of equal amounts, oil, vinegar and sugar. add garlic, mustard and salt.

1 bunch scallions thinly sliced
diced yellow pepper (optional)

Shake well in a container dressing should become creamy
pour dressing when ready to serve.
I prepare ingredients before, and combine everything right before meal.

Hi, do you use the consommé that comes with the ramen (oriental flavor) or chicken soup mix in this recipe? Thank you!
