Do any of you give gift for ob.??????
When I went back for my post partum checkup I got my doctor some chocolate and a picture of my baby on a frame with a poem to it, and I gave her money too. just to show appreciation, (although I Wasn't too happy with her but anyway....)

We sent birth announcements with a pic of dd to the docs and nurses. And that's enough for the way it happened, really. I am willing to offer them an episio though.

Didn't you (or your insurance) pay her for each visit and the delivery??? I understand (and also gave) a gift, but wondering why you gave money?
I personally baked fancy cookies (well not so fancy, but they looked really good) = chocolate chip cookie bars, and I tied each one with a pink ribbon, wrapping up the basket with pretty ribbons and matching tissue paper etc. and brought it in for my 6 week post partum visit.
