Don't invite your MIL, but pretend that she's coming.

I listen to Kol HaLashon at night after the kids are in bed, on speaker phone. They have great shiurim for ladies (as well as for men and I think for kids too). It makes the time pass quickly while I'm scrubbing the floor, folding laundry, etc. I'm sure there are other phone-shiurim lines that are good too.
I don't clean well while talking with friends on the phone, but listening to a shiur without having to interact with someone is perfect.
I don't know where you live, but if they have Kol HaLashon where you live, I especially recommend the parenting shiur given by...I forgot her name, but she's this bubbie with a lot of experience and opinions, and the part at the end (first she talks about chinuch insights in the current parsha) where she opens the phone line and lets people ask questions is great. You get a lot of Williamsburg ladies giving opinions and it's very entertaining and helpful. I think she's #5 or #7 in the ladies' shiurim section.

Oops--I see you're in Israel, so Kol HaLashon is not an option.

r u stay @ home b/c u have no choice? (baby... etc)
maybe u could look into doing a working at home.
I always said, if u hate cleaning and hate being at home... work 1/2 day that way u can afford a cleaner and ur not home all day
if u have a baby see if you can take a home course that can be applied to a home-job so next time u hav 2 sit at home u have something to do with urself.
b''h I play piano, and do graphics. I also teach kids who need extra help (not qualified in any of these... graphics learned on my own by figureing it out... piano I did learn properly but not to be a teacher... last year I had a connection b/c I worked with a lady whos husband owned a music school and asked me 2 sub. liked what I did... etc.....)
now I''yh I'm due with my 2nd so I'm thinking seriously to get a piano to privately tutor at home
u can always offer to do homework help
also if ur up 2 it... u could try a home-day-care & bring ur baby with u

What motivates me is actually having a cleaning lady. When I have one, I clean together with her. The other day I had a new one who was pretty slow, and while she was doing the bathroom, I started - and then finished - the kitchen. I get in the mood of cleaning when I have help.

I like to put on headphones and listen to my favorite music. It keeps me occupied and moving. I like to listen to something fast not a slow Avraham Fried or MBD. If I do put them on then I only do upbeat songs like "chazak."

to say nothing of....da-dummmmm....PESACH!!! When I see filthy appliances being taken out of apts. I think Thank G-d for Pesach, otherwise my stove/sink/fridge would be just as filthy!
