Ingredients
Cod fish head 1 pound size
2 large potatoes, cut in small cube size
1 small onion, chop small
1 carrot, chop small pieces
1 half stick pound butter
2 cups water
2 cups heavy cream
salt and pepper
In pot, saute onion in butter in til before brown color.
Add potatoes and water and cook for 15 minutes.
Add fish head, carrots, and sauted onions and cook for 15 minutes, stirring a little bit until potatoes are soft and fish is cooked when you put a fork in and it goes in easy.
Add cream and seasonings.
Heat, but do not boil. After that it is ready!
I make this for DH even that he say he do not like to see the fish head, so he used to not eat it but I try again and he like it!! Even that I put the cod head on the middle of the big bowl to look nice!
Try it for your family if you looking for a cod head soup! It taste so good!
