A poster shared that she spends more than $30 on pajamas. Local stores charge in that range for the new shipment every season. I try finding old sale stuff but it doesn't always work out and they're not that much cheaper.

Please share your bargain secrets for 7-8 year old boys. They don't do superheroes, characters, huge words splashed across it, or short sleeves.

Thanks everyone!

Old navy never has anything my son would agree to wear. The only pj set they have now has huge words across the front.

Is this too childish? No words or super heroes. With coupons will be 4 pairs for 21$. Will they wear shorts? There are others as well. Maybe something would work.
My ds sleeps in regular sweats/active wear because he likes them

I just let my boys wear comfy lounge clothes from children's place. Think there matchables sets they always have this time of year. Plain t shirts matching shorts. Swear pants etc. why do they need official pjs ?

I'm in Israel, so no point recommending stores, but why not simply plain tee-shirts and loose sporty pants. If that comes out cheaper.
In Israel you can get pj's for 7-8 year olds for 30/40 shekels.

Sweatpants or exercise pants and long/shot sleeve t-shirts. I dress my sons in polo shirts and pants. So this type of clothing is soft and comfortable for sleeping and I don't need to find the matching piece.

A bigger issue for me is tznius nightgowns for a good price. They often have a very open neckline. I want basically a long sleeve t-shirt that goes to the ankle. (Leave plenty of space to grow)

ETA: Op, I get from Leader. Stop by regularly and look through the clearance baskets. I like their quality for the price.

childrens place - the pants are 100% cotton - they are fitted. My 9 and 8 year old wear them. I normally find lots of styles without words.

For an older child just pair whatever random shirts or pants you find on clearance. For example:

http://www.childrensplace.com/.....82-V7

paired with http://www.childrensplace.com/.....04-HM

If you prefer long pants not as cheap but there is this http://www.childrensplace.com/.....69-V7

From Target there's:
http://www.target.com/p/boys-l....._1_44
paired with http://www.target.com/p/boys-s....._1_89

If they would wear short sleeves you can get even cheaper: http://www.target.com/p/boys-t.....e_1_1

There are also pajama sets such as http://www.target.com/p/boys-l....._1_21
