Ds has had strep in past with fever. He’s been complaining since yesterday that his knee hurts and he’s limping. I took him to the doc and they did a throat culture which so far is negative. Just wondering if symptoms can be different or usually it presents the same way for the child?

I’ve had one kid who had so many different symptoms, never the same.
Some symptoms were:
Bed wetting
Rash on backside
Full blown scarlet fever rash
Stomach pain
Limping
Regular typical fever / throat pain
Sometimes, he only had one symptom from the list, such as bedwetting, but that’s so unusual for him, that I knew it was probably strep (from experience).
