why do you always think I am addressing my comments specifically to you ...

it happens to be that my son bases his reasoning on halacha he learned and I do not know the details ... simple ... not a controversy to anyone

you responded directly after my post
I said I was going to research
motek already did her research
naturally I thought you were addressing me so I corrected you that I didn't mention it was halacha but kabala

if you post directly after a person on something they specifically said then you need to realize they will think you are addressing them. If you are not then maybe it would be a good idea to address the person you are speaking to.

there is another poster here who also throws out comments in answer to posts from previous pages or up the page and its hard to figure out to whom or what she is talking about.

estis - generally if I am speaking specifically to answer specifics, I quote something or mention their name ... I think that is sufficient ...

Dh says he has learned the minimum is like 1 mm (the smallest that scissors leave), but it's much better if there is enough hair to not show the skin. He says it's forbidden to shave them.
He has had many "Levels" too. Behind the ears but not long enough to show under the ears, then "enough hair to not show the skin", then longer than the ears, now back to first option.

B'h I don't have to give haircuts to dh! It's not something done where I live, I think almost everyone prefers a professional.

Ever since I started giving my husband haircuts, his peyos get bigger and bigger and more well defined. Wink Now they're long-ish- down to his chin (approx) when curly.

My DH wears a beard, so I just trim the peyot enough so it doesn't look messy, same as the beard.
