My Brother called me that he wants to buy an anniversary gift for his wife. A bed wedding…
It took me a while to chap he meant a wedding band.

What does this even mean? Does he speak English?
Also doesn't everyone get a wedding band at the chuppah?

I think you’re confusing it with a kiddushin ring.
Sounds like her brother was looking for an eternity band.

I had that thought, but I'm not sure. Does anyone call that a wedding band?
It makes more sense to call the plain band you get at the wedding a wedding band, doesn't it?

Kiddushin ring = wedding band. Literally.
Eternity band has nothing to do with wedding

He probably didn’t know what it was called himself and just said something that sounded like what he thought he heard.

Exactly. English is not his first language. His wife mentioned a wedding band-eternity band and he made a mental note.
He heard the word bed wetting growing up so this is how he remembered the word.

C’mon, it’s very obvious that English is not his first language. In fact that’s the point of the story
