We use it all the time on the pancakes. It doesn't come in a very big bottle in any case.

I bought a bottle... its expensive! and was I supposed to spend the extra dollar on the organic one?!?!?

bnm - You definitely didn't need to spend the extra dollar on the organic one. I wish maple syrup weren't so expensive! Maple syrup adds a lot to certain recipes (I don't think honey would work as well, it has a different flavor), so I don't think you'll regret buying it. We use it on french toast, pancakes, & oatmeal - yum!

I use artificial maple syrup a lot. Lots cheaper and even though the taste is not exactly the same (for pancake mavens) it works fine in recipes.
