It's been like this for a really, really long time. She doesn't mind sitting in the water, but she really dislikes the feeling of the water over her head. She holds her ears and she screams. I am extremely careful not to get it in her eyes, or her ears, and even when I'm successful at this, she still cries. I really think maybe it's a sensory issue? When we were recently visiting america, my mother bought some special sponge thing (I forget the name) that lets you regulate the amount of water coming out by putting your finger on the hole, but it didn't help. She sees my 1 year old enjoying the bath, but it doesn't change her own feelings about it.
Any ideas?? I don't have the time or money to do swimming lessons, and I think therapy is going too far...
She's afraid of the shower head, so that's not an option either.
Thanks in advance!
