The father, a kohein, 100 gr of silver, which is approximately 6 currently minted US silver dollars...maybe also the baby, but lav davka. The correct brachas, etc. should be on hand as well. If the "child" being redeemed is already bar mitzvah, it is HIS responsibility to redeem himself, so replace father with the child.
My understanding is that it is not necessary to have a seuda to perform this mitzvah, but it does add in hiddur. If there is wine at the seuda, the redemption is performed during it whereas if there is no wine, it is performed right before the seuda.
