Bumping this thread up because I was curious if anyone had any ideas about what to do with the leftover dressing. I used only a small fraction of what the recipe called for as I only used one head of lettuce and no cabbage when I made it.
Besides for tossing with cabbage, which is a great suggestion, what else?
Thicken with more mayo for crudite? Spread for wraps? What thinks you guys?

if you're up for more salad you can make a salad lunch with the dressing and add shredded cheese, quartered eggs, cubes of turkey, or cut up chicken...

Lettuce
Cabbage
Scallions (green onions)
cherry tomatoes
sour cream and onion flavored nishnashim crackers
Dressing:
5 cloves of garlic, crushed (use less if they're big)
1 cup mayo
2 T dijon mustard (I have used ground mustard when I was out of dijon)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 t. lemon juice
salt and pepper
The dressing makes enough for a very large salad or 2 smaller ones. Leftover dressing can be used on plain cabbage for an easy salad.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but just wanted to say WOW I just made this dressing and it tasted YUM, Ive always wanted to make a dressing like this but never found a perfect one but this is it!
I halved the recipe and still have loads spare.
I didnt have the salad ingredients so just chopped up some cucumber, tomatoes, onions, carrots, peppers and poured on the dressing and that was my supper YUM
