I'm looking for suggestions for toys for my 6 year old dd. She's outgrowing the preschool-type toys that her brothers still play with. But if I took her to the toy store, she would choose Barbie, princess dress up, play make-up and jewelry... all things I don't want her to have.

She has My Little Pony, which is nice because it satisfies her need to "dress up" but without the tznius issues. She is not so interested in the toy kitchen. She has baby dolls and accessories that she plays with but is not obsessed with them.

She did get some arts and crafts items for her birthday, but you can only do so much of that.

Any other suggestions?
